Some people say that not all pilots are alike

Is a pilot a pilot a pilot? Human physiology is the same, no matter what aircraft a pilot flies or where they’re flying it.

Some say that pilots of small aircraft in remote areas shouldn’t be covered by the same fatigue rules that govern pilots of larger aircraft.

We disagree. NASA’s research says that fatigue affects all pilots.

Whether they’re flying exhausting long-haul flights or making grueling landings on gravel runways, don’t all pilots deserve protection to ensure that they are rested and fully alert? Don’t the passengers they carry and the people on the ground waiting for the important cargo being flown in deserve safe, rested, pilots?
